Sarah Ijiettemo
Programme Coordinator
Sarah Ijiettemo is the Programme Coordinator for Postgraduate Studies at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University. She holds a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning and an MSc in Geography and Planning with a specialization in Geotourism, both from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She has also completed certifications in Health Safety and Environmental Management (Levels 1 and 2), Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, as well as Catering and Event Management.
With three years of experience in academic administration, Sarah plays a vital role in coordinating postgraduate programmes, supporting students, and ensuring the smooth running of academic processes. Her professional path has been shaped by service, having volunteered as the Public Relations Officer for Sodeinde Postgraduate Hall and as a Field Trip Executive in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Lagos.
Sarah’s personal philosophy is simple: when you know better, you do better. She believes every experience is a chance to grow, improve how she works, and contribute meaningfully to the bigger picture. This mindset keeps her teachable, open-minded and accountable.
She enjoys travelling, event planning and music.
